During the summer months swim directly from the backyard, or if you prefer to have company, a one minute walk will take you to the shared community beach. Our home is directly on the water with a spacious yard for barbecuing (Ducane gas grill), sun bathing (lounge chairs provided), swimming, kayaking (one and two person kayak provided), fishing (lake is stocked with trout), napping in the hammock for 2 and also has a large outdoor fire pit.

Lots of restaurants, antiquing, wine trails, golf, river tubing, Warner Theater for shows, and Mohegan Sun and Foxwood Casinos are within an hour drive. 

Light and bright with wall to wall windows overlooking the water and a cozy wood burning fireplace for romantic evenings. No noisy gas powered vessels allowed, only canoe, kayak or electric pontoon. During winter months enjoy ice skating, ice fishing, and Sundown ski area close by.
